BODY AWARENESS: TUNING INTO THE FEMININE


One of the fundamental themes to be able to navigate physical reality is body awareness


Your body is your suit, your instrument, your spaceship


Your BODY is an 𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐙𝐈𝐍𝐆 piece of bio-technology, a SUPERB bio-suit with capabilities you might not even think were possible

It has all sorts of indicators that show you what it 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐒


There are many different ones and some of them are really SUBTLE!


Are you 𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐘? or do you feel like tasting something flavorful? Do you need nourishment or do you want a hit of dopamine because you want to satisfy an EMOTIONAL need?


If you are in need of nourishing, what exactly do you need? Is it raw energy? is it protein to rebuild your muscles? is it omega 3 fats to feed your brain?


Do you want something sweet or you're dehydrated? (this one is one of the best ones)


Now there are 𝐓𝐖𝐎 𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐒 to this wisdom:


One is the left brain, 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄, practical information that you can find here or in many other chemistry / biology oriented bodies of knowledge.


The other one is the right brain, 𝐅𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆, of what exactly your body needs, how that exact need for healthy fats or just raw energy 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋𝐒


This does't stop at nutrition


How rested are you? how have you been SLEEPING? Is your room too bright at night? is your mind too active?

Should i work out today? Do i feel tired or is my brain just dopamine deficient and i feel 𝐋𝐀𝐙𝐘, yet my body is fit for movement?


There is a 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 of difference


Awareness will give you tools and insight to navigate the needs of your body

And this will mean some days you will not meet that deadline, you will cancel your plans, and spend the whole day resting, reading in bed.


We have come to a point in this society where being 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐅𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋, means delivering all the time, at 𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐓.


There is little room for feeling, cycles, resting, integrating, and all of those marvelous 𝐅𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐄 values.


Our patriarchal outlook on the world needs some 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐫𝐞-𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠


If you look at nature you will notice animals are resting 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄, they lay down in the shade, then start moving and playing again, then go and rest again


The 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘 creature that keeps going all the time, popping some coffee or stimulants to keep going when nature demands rest, is the 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐁𝐄𝐈𝐍𝐆.


No wonder everyone is stressed, 𝐁𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐔𝐓, irritable and full of 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐑.


A huge portion of the population cannot sit in silence with themselves, are foreign to the concept of a nap. The minute they close their eyes they are 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐀𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐄𝐃 by thoughts, stress, anxiety.


This is your body integrating your current experience. It was like that all the while, now you are just directly witnessing it.

The good news is, if you just lay there for a while taking it all in, it settles and you feel so much better. You grab some nutritious food after and suddenly everything feels like it's going to be 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐄.


I find it quite humorous that, pretty much like a hungry and underslept child, the whole world is throwing tantrums, we have older bodies but have not grown up 𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐋𝐋


I know, i say this all the time, but repetition aids assimilation:


Cultivate 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 (masculine) 𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐍 to your 𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘, WITNESS IT (feminine)


It's the paved road to embodying an integrated, balanced human experience.


And if you had a stressful day, if you feel yourself buzzing and completely overwhelmed about everything you need to 𝐃𝐎...


Go take a nap


Seriously, go lay down for 20 minutes now


You don't even need to sleep, you just need to lay there in a comfortable place and 𝐝𝐨 𝐚𝐛𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆


The body handles it all for you, as your humble companion


As you come back, you will notice that everything that was pressuring you, feels a little bit 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫, what was overwhelming seems a

bit more 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞, what was cloudy, now becomes 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫.


There is also a chance you might come back even more tired than you were before, and these are the signs that you were running on 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐘 for a long, 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 time.


You've been burning the candle at both ends, in deep 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐭.


If this is the case, give your body a break, request a 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐎𝐔𝐓, pace yourself so you can finally integrate, and rest.

Oh, wait, the whole world stopped so you can do just that!


How auspicious!


I promise, you will come out of that journey revitalized, energized, and way more inspired and productive than if you had been working all out that whole time.
